I’m a professional software developer living in [1] Columbus, Ohio, happily married to a wonderful woman by whom I am father to two pretty well grown and wonderful kids. I’m also a graduate of [2] Ashland Theological Seminary with an MA in Practical Theology majoring in Spiritual Formation. I don’t identify completely with any particular Christian denomination. I have been a member of a few denominational and non-denominational churches in my time but I have been an intentional follower of Jesus Christ for all of my adult life. I am a member of [3] Bethel Presbyterian Church. I’m aways searching for more of God and a larger perspective on the “big questions” of life.
Why are you here?
You are welcome to respond with your own thoughts (comments, criticisms or whatever) to anything I post here. I consider this an open, public forum. All I ask is that there be no personal attacks, gratuitous foul language, or solicitation. Be intense if you want, but be civil. Thanks.

Relevant quizzes that I’ve taken. (I’m not sure I agree completely with their conclusions. There were too many of the questions on the second one with which I could neither agree or disagree strongly. But, generally speaking, I don’t mind accepting these labels for whatever they’re worth. It’s interesting to see the sort of combinations they came out with.)
| .. | You scored as Cultural Creative. Cultural Creatives are probably the newest group to enter this realm. You are a modern thinker who tends to shy away from organized religion but still feels as if there is something greater than ourselves. You are very spiritual, even if you are not religious. Life has a meaning outside of the rational.
[4] What is Your World View? |
| .. | You scored as Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan. You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God’s grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavly by John Wesley and the Methodists.
